Undergraduate researcher and developer for Jigsaw, an information visualization project.

Worked with the Windows Mobile / Windows Phone team at Microsoft to create a push notification SDK for the innovative Live Tile system. Also created other developer controls and applications. Key technologies included C# and Silverlight for Windows Phone 7.

Developed a highly optimized in-memory caching system for the Live Mesh file system synchronization tool that emphasized efficient data structures and hashing algorithms. Implemented in C#.

Worked as an integral part of the .NET development team at this national ecommerce corporation. Used platforms such as C# and WPF to create innovative business applications such as a virtual brochure platform, a video tagging tool, and a custom URL rewriter for their network of public websites.

Worked with AT&T contracted development including an IPTV system based on Microsoft technology, mobile development using Yahoo’s Blueprint platform, and web development utilizing PHP plus extensive JavaScript and CSS.

Developed the Yahoo! Mobile Blueprint platform SDK, a public programming library and example applications for Yahoo’s industry-leading mobile platform. Also focused on internal projects related to the mobile platform. Primarily programmed in PHP on a mixed Linux/Windows environment.

Worked as a team member on various web application development and programming projects for major clients. Tasks included C# and ASP.NET development, CSS and XHTML design, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 implementation and custom development.

Created an SMS text message-powered application using the Twilio platform and the DailyBurn web service. Users may message a phone number with a meal, drink, etc. and receive detailed nutritional information like calories, fat, etc. More information at the Twilio website.

Elected Vice President External and Technical Chair of the Georgia Tech Association of Computing Machinery professional student organization. Responsibilities included reaching out to corporations and scheduling technical seminars, classes, and other events. Also developed current website and several internal technical projects.
